Year end total

It's official 2000.17 miles in 2010. I've never counted miles before, but I had a journal this year which made it pretty easy. Today's final run which was the final 17.24 consisted of simple loops in the cold at Alton Baker Park. I didn't feel very creative today and used most of my energy to get myself out the door and to stay focused on "the goal". At water break, I got additional motivation through texting from my friend Deb and sister Diane. Saw 2 fox taking in the sun on the bank of the canal and wished many people happy new year as we passed. I'm not sure if I ever warmed up completely, but I'm glad I got out there and enjoyed the fresh crisp air. Tomorrow, a trail run with Tim to start the year off right - happy trails!
